DT Nexus is a product of [Digital Transitions](https://heritage-digitaltransitions.com) (a.k.a. DT Heritage or DT). DT makes  hardware and software and provides services to museums, libraries and archives doing preservation-grade digitization.&#x20;

DT Nexus is a companion app to Capture One, extending its functionality by providing tools and workflows specific to digitization.

## Main Features

### Color Profiling

The creation of standards-compliant color profiles that improve color and tone accuracy.&#x20;

### Standards Validation

Checking if the system complies with FADGI or ISO Standards, following the best practice of evaluating a target other than the one used to make the color profile. Currently, only Color/Tone are evaluated – more metrics will be added over time.

### Light Control

Control of DT Stellar lighting including setting Power, Grouping, Naming, and Mode (Flash or Continuous)

### Fusion

A mode that increases color accuracy by combining two captures using a 6-channel profile. This is especially helpful for subject matter with challenging colorants. DT Stellar Fusion or DT Gemini lighting is required for this feature.

### AI Crop & Straighten

Utilize AI to detect heritage materials and their sub-components, enabling precise rules-based automatic cropping (including straightening).

### Batch Crop Adjust

A set of tools to adjust the crop of one or more images. For example, you can standardize the width without changing the height or center of each crop.

## Made for Heritage Digitization

Unlike most software you interact with on a daily basis, DT Nexus is made for a small niche market – heritage digitization. If you are a member of that community your voice has a large say in the development of this software.&#x20;
