## Requirements

- DT Stellar
- DT Fusion License\*
- Computer with DT Nexus
- DT Nexus Validated Fusion Profile

:::hint{type="danger"}
\*While in Beta, Fusion is free to use without a license. We encourage you to use this period to evaluate whether Fusion is right for you. Once DT Nexus has left Beta, Fusion will be a separate license.
:::

## Steps

:::::WorkflowBlock
:::WorkflowBlockItem
Follow the [In-Situ Color Profiling Steps](docId\:v8pFyQYr6wv6aIxdvLEuJ). Fusion profiles are always made alongside a white profile if the requirements (Stellar + Fusion License) are met. No additional work is required to create a Fusion profile.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
In the Camera Settings panel, switch on Fusion Capture.
:::

::::WorkflowBlockItem
Trigger Fusion Capture from either the Trigger panel, or via the foot pedal.

:::hint{type="danger"}
**Fusion captures cannot be triggered from within Capture One.**

Clicking the capture button in Capture One when taking a DT Fusion capture will result in a single, underexposed white image. Make sure to use the capture button in DT Nexus, or a foot pedal that is connected to a DT Stellar light.

**Motion**

If the subject or camera moves between the white and sapphire captures, a ghosting effect will occur. In such a case you can capture a new pair without movement or use only the white capture.
