the accessory panel works the same for either the stellar or gemini setup stellar and gemini come with two diffusion panels crystalclear and prodiffuser the crystalclear diffusion panel is built of micro prismatic lenses for greater light transmission this is ideal for large works of art or when the lights are placed at a distance when working in close proximity to the object and in most other instances, the prodiffusion panel is recommended as it more completely mixes the specularity of the led panel producing a smooth even light source the bezel is designed to allow a thin gel or polarizing filter to be placed in front of either diffuser, held flat alternatively, the bezels are magnetic (magnets not included) and can be used to hold filters or gels in place note that for polarizing filters to work most effectively they should be held flat, and so are better placed inside the bezel than magnetically attached to it steps loosen the thumb screw to release the panel slide diffusion panel out and replace when removing the panel, it may be necessary to loosen the bezel thumb locks to release the panel close panel and tighten the accessory panel thumb screw
