To remove the Mounting Collar, release the Angle Adjustment Lock and turn the Angle Adjustment Lever counter-clockwise. Once free, the Mounting Collar should slide out when pressed. The Mounting Collar is made of two interlocking parts. To separate the two halves, remove the ¼-20 screw in the threaded hole.
