VESA Mount Installation
Every Stellar is equipped with VESA mounting points to adapt to the myriad situations and use cases for Stellar lighting. All eight mounting points come equipped with ¼-20 socket head cap screws.
The below directions are for mounting the Stellar to a VESA-to-baby-pin adapter, but the terminal attachment can be replaced as needed.
Required Tools
- Phillips screwdriver
- Spanner wrench
- 3/16” Allen wrench
Required Parts
- Stellar Light
- Included four ¼-20 Socket head cap screws
- 200 x 100 VESA Bracket (Not included**)
- Included bolts, washers, nuts, and standoffs.
- VESA-to-baby-pin Adapter plate (Not included**)
**The Stellar does not include a VESA bracket or VESA-to-baby-pin Adapter Plate. Please see Recommended Stellar Accessories or contact DT Support at [email protected].
Steps
Single VESA Mount
Remove the ¼-20 socket head cap screws from the 4 inner VESA Mount positions and the nuts and bolts from the VESA-to-baby-pin adapter.
Align the VESA adapter with the 100 x 100 mount at the center of the VESA plate.
Secure the VESA-to-baby-pin adapter. Pass the included bolt through the VESA-to-baby-pin adapter, through the 200 x 100 VESA plate, and through a washer. Secure with the included nuts.
Using the ¼-20 screws from the back of the Stellar, pass the screws through the back of the VESA plate, through the stand offs included with the VESA plate, returning to the original placement on the back of the Stellar.
Matrix Mounting
Multiple DT Stellars can be linked together by bridging additional VESA plates along the long edge of the Stellar. This allows for a larger light source with repeatable alignment.
The VESA plate used to bridge the Stellars is for positioning and alignment only and not intended to support multiple Stellars at once.
Connect the VESA plates to the center VESA mounting holes as directed in Single VESA Mount.
On the long edge of the Stellar that is to be shared, remove the two outer VESA Mount screws for each Stellar.
Bridge the two units with the 200 x 100 VESA bracket and replace the 4 ¼-20 screws.
