Stellar Installation into a DT Atom

required tools 3/16” allen wrench required parts 2x dt stellar 8x atom gemini mounting screws dt atom 2x atom pins dt atoms manufactured prior to 2020 use a larger pin format compatible with the dt photon (mark i); contact dt about new pins and pin receivers that are compatible with the dt stellar steps remove the 4 atom/gemini mount 10 32 ⅜” socket head cap screws from each stellar unit a dt atom pin has two detents for aligning the angle of a dt stellar when mounted to a dt atom because there are two detents, each dt stellar can be used on either side of a dt atom position the detents so they are towards the back of each stellar replace the four atom/gemini mount screws loosen the tightening knob of the mounting block on the atom arm insert atom pin into mounting block on the atom until seated against the mounting block rotate stellar on mounting pin till detent locks stellar into the correct angle tighten the tightening knob of the mounting block to secure the stellar in place for atom units made in 2024 and after, a channel inside the arms of the atom is included to house power and ethernet cables on older dt atoms, cables should be routed along the back of the arm and secured with velcro straps
