in various scenarios asymmetrical lighting is required for example, a raking light may be needed to enhance the visibility of a relief, or for transmissive materials a second light may be needed to illuminate the mounting the offset power setting allows for two or more lights to be connected via ethernet but with different output settings it is important to start by setting the power output of your brightest light first and then adjust the others to lower settings a maximum ratio of 4 1 (two stops) may be achieved with the offset power setting steps ensure the mode switch is set to “standalone” and the unit is powered on when powered on, the stellar defaults to the continuous light coarse adjustment setting the led indicator ring will turn a solid light blue press and hold the control dial for three seconds to enter offset power coarse adjustment settings the indicator dial will cycle from light blue, to yellow, to dark blue, with every third led turning yellow to indicate one stop of light if flash settings have been made, the unit will increase power to indicate the flash setting while adjusting offset setting offset power coarse adjustment can be accessed from either the continuous or flash menus rotate the control dial clockwise to increase power by ⅓ stop increments and counter clockwise to decrease power by ⅓ stop increments with a two stop range from the maximum output of the first light to exit the fine adjustment setting, press the control dial once or wait three seconds to return to the previous menu
