Batch Crop Adjust

This new tool provides for batch editing of crops, including from the keyboard. It can be used on its own in a manual cropping workflow, and is the perfect complement to AI Crop for tweaking crops set via AI.

Much of this functionality was ported from our stand-alone Crop Control CH scripts. In their Nexus incarnation these functions are faster to access, and come with keyboard bindings built in.

Quick Actions

Standardize Width. All selected variants will be assigned the width of the largest width among those variants. An anchor point determines how that is achieved.

Standardize Height. All selected variants will be assigned the height of the largest height among those variants. An anchor point determines how that is achieved.

Set Width. All selected variants will have their width set to the pixel width entered. An anchor point determines how that is achieved.

Set height. All selected variants will have their width set to the pixel width entered. An anchor point determines how that is achieved.

Split Crops. All selected variants will be split in two, at their horizontal center.

Variants -> Files. If a file has more than one variant the second and subsequent variants will be made into their own file. This allows the user to work around the limitation that Capture One can only rename files, not variants, and allows Batch Rename to be used in page-splitting and multicrop workflows.

Move / Edges

Move. Move the crop up, down, left, or right without changing the width or height.

Edges. Extend or contract one edge of the crop.

Boundary Violations

Under the [⋮] menu you can elect to flag images when a Move or Edge action is not possible because it would cause the crop to extend outside the image.
