Computer / Software Requirements
Presently DT Nexus is a Mac-only based Software. Note that many of our clients who primarily use PC have successfully added a Mac for capture and processing by arguing it is an integral part of the digitization station.
- M-based Mac (not Intel)
- M1, M2, M3, M4, or M5 processor
- MacOS Sequoia (15) or MacOS Tahoe (MacOS 26.1 or higher)
- Ram of 16 GB minimum for standard operation. 24 GB minimum for Fusion Processing
- Disk Space: 20 GB free disk space (minimum required for app size & profile creation - additional space required for capture or Fusion Processing, as needed)
- Internet: A connection to the internet is required to initially sign in to DT Nexus. Nexus periodically checks its license, and will continue to work for ~100 days without internet.
- Supported Camera
- DT Nexus supports Phase One cameras for Capture
- DT Nexus supports raws, tiffs, and jpgs created with Phase One cameras for profiling, validation, AI Crop, and fusion processing
- For Tethered Capture
- A camera compatible with your license of Capture One must be connected for DT Nexus to provide capture triggering
- Capture One
- Capture One 23 (v16.3.8 minimum; v16.8.4 recommended) must be installed and activated
- DT Nexus Beta supports Capture One CH, Pro, and Studio licenses
DT Nexus supports Phase One raw files, and TIFF/JPGs created from Phase One raw files. See 3rd Party Files for the limited functionality available for other files.
Profiling - Target Requirements
To use DT Nexus to create a color profile for reflective materials we suggest that you have at least two of the following targets, preferably with custom spectral measurements:
- DT NGT V2 Target
- ISA FADGI 19264 Target
- ColorChecker SG (CCSG)
To use DT Nexus to create a color profile for transmissive materials we suggest that you have at least one of the below targets, preferably both:
- DT Nexus Transmissive Profiling Target (DT NTPT)
- DT Nexus Transmissive Validation Target (DT NTVT)
