Overwriting Fusion Metadata

in some cases the metadata created by fusion (description and job identifier) will conflict with metadata the user will want to enter into these fields themselves you can fuse the fusion pair into a fusion tiff and then revise the description and/or job identifier metadata fields of the tiff remember that metadata entered in c1 is only committed into the file when you process a new derivative, so processing the fusion tiff to another tiff (or into a jpg) will create a file with the revised metadata permanently included other editing software such as adobe bridge could also be used to edit this field
