ensure all stellars are switched to dt nexus on the back of the units, ensure the physical switch is set to dt nexus check cabling each stellar must have an ethernet path (direct or daisy chained) to the computer dt connect adapter while the dt stellar uses ethernet, it should be plugged in via the dt connect usb to ethernet adapter other ethernet ports such as those already on the computer or an attached hub will not work without changing the computer’s network settings (which is only necessary for advanced use cases; typically it is much easier to simply use a dt connect however, if you wish to make another port work with dt stellar here are the instructions apple > system settings > network > \[name of port] > details > tcp/ip , set configure ipv4 to manually, and enter 169 254 0 1 this will require the credentials of an administrator, but does not require logging in as an administrator quit and restart dt nexus if dt nexus fails to connect to stellars, restart the application recycle power on stellar if stellar fails to register in dt nexus, cycle the power and reconnect firewalls firewalls may interfere with dt stellar connectivity please ensure that tcp ports 1883 and 9000 are allowed through
